Oshi Mat Review

The Oshi mat is a thick, non-toxic foam mat designed for babies to use during baby programs and classes. But that is just one of the MANY uses you can get out of this mat. It also comes with a carrying bag and an information tag. Such a great idea for when you take it to baby classes or play groups!

We received the Flower print and it is a beautiful, bright pattern. Grace loves it and told us right away that it was for her to do somersaults on. (She is very into her tumbling class lately.) The Oshi mat is 32” long and 27” wide which is plenty big for a baby. Grace has no problem using it for practicing her front rolls, but I wouldn’t purchase one specifically for that because it is kind of small for an older child.

Some of the other uses we have found for the mat are a changing pad, a picnic mat for snacks on the floor, tummy time, and Gabriel has even napped on it! It is 1/4” thick and very comfy for babies and toddlers to just sit or lay on. I really like that is it water resistant. Drink spills (and drool) just bead up and wipe right off!

The Oshi mat retails for $50 or you can get a set of four to put together as a large play area for $160. They aren’t cheap, but they are well made, safe, and very squishy! So if you’re looking for a play mat or class mat for your little one, definitely check them out!

I wish I knew about the Oshi mat when Reese was younger- it would have been great for tummy time and so much more! Oshi mat is a mom designed, award winning product that is light weight and easy to clean. It prevents bacteria and odors because of tiny holes on both the top and bottom surfaces. The holes quicken drying time and prevent bacteria from forming. This is great especially for us mommies who like to sanitize everything!

The Oshi mat comes in a couple different modern designs and I wish there were more! I love how squishy the material is and how easy it is clean. The mat has a travel case which makes it perfect for taking to baby classes or when visiting friends and relatives to use as a changing pad, play mat, or nap spot.  Reese enjoyed sitting on it to play with toys and it’s a great spot to sit together and read. The Oshi mat would also be great for using outside when the weather warms up! It stays in place really well. When Reese crawls around on it, it doesn’t move, which blankets always do! I love this feature especially for diaper changing time since Reese is so squirmy and I am always readjusting a blanket or diaper changing pad.

The Oshi mat is a versatile product that many moms and babies would love. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes eco-friendly material and mommies that worry about germs when out of their house!
